Ready, Set, Stamp - May

The Craft Stamper 'Ready, Set, Stamp' for May had a theme of Extra Texture – whether it’s multiple stamped layers or some texture paste, we want to see a bit of depth here whilst working with a colour palette of sage, mauve and rose pink.
The stamps featured in this card are Jofy stamps (23 and 24). Distressed inks were used on the background (Bundled Sage / Tattered Rose / Shaded Lilac) and texture was created using goosebumps. The stamps were coloured with distressed markers along with copics, further texture was created with glossy accents and glitter. The vase was stamped onto linen look card and cut out.  The flowers were cut out and layered to give depth and a bow added.  The main image was then matted and some gems added.

To meet the requirements of this challenge Bundled Sage / Tattered Rose / Shaded Lilac Distressed Ink and Distressed Markers were used.  Texture was added by embossing one of the layers, a bundled sage card, with a 'dotty' embossing folder.  Another layer, the pink layer, was covered in glitter. Further texture was created using a stencil, first applying the three distressed inks then applying clear cosmic shimmer.  The stamped image was done using the Craft Stamper free stamp from the July 2014 issue.  After colouring the image with distressed markers a layer of glossy accents was applied.
